I am running OpenTDD on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1. I have been playing the scenario since 1950 and had no difficulties until the point represented on the save game. My economy is set to stable
The problem is that for some reason some of my cargo payment rates have suddenly changed to negative values. Instead of a longer journey leading to decreased cargo profits, it now results in reduced cargo losses. As a result, a large portion of my network has become loss-making.
The save represents more or less the point where the problems start. If I continue the game, the situation will eventually be reached where all cargos have negative payment rates within a few years. I have been on the TT-Forums seeking help (http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=62824) where one user, Transportman, has noted that if my game is fast forwarded for several years, my cargo payments then go up rapidly before collapsing again once they hit €100,000 per unit.
It means that I am unable to play the game effectively. I have never had such problems before.
