Description:
As we all know - with default OpenTTD train-set single headed engines take up only one half of a tile.
Locomotive (train) has orders to wait (load or unload at this particular station from here on - station).
Locomotive is positioned/stopped/waiting on the first half of a railway station tile (=current station tile) facing the departure/exit line direction.
When it departs/starts moving it only starts emitting smoke when it crosses the line between current station tile and next station tile (station is longer than train/locomotive).
(for better visibility a steam engine is most suitable for demonstration)
Starting moving on a non-station or station tile without having any orders set to it, locomotive starts emitting smoke no matter where on a tile it stands as it should.
