Hi there,
when realistic acceleration is turned on in 0.5.3-RC2, trains that go over bridges ignore their maximum speed they've been going on "normal" tracks and do accelerate to the bridge's maximum speed - no matter how many cars you've added to the train.
Yeah, I do, hope it will reproduce the error at your place. I'll just take a random savegame of my latest game. Just watch some of the longer trains going over bridges.
In the above posted savegame: watch Train 44 loading. It's a "T.I.M." thus having a max. speed of 240 km/h. It's got 14 cars trailing behind, therefore it accelerates to 224 km/h and struggles to get faster then. When it arrives on the bridge, it accelerates to 240 km/h as if there were no cars to pull.
