Hey I'm from a Korean OTTD community and one of the members got some idea to make this a better game

  1. On scenario mode make it start off from a 'Open...' window instead of the blank scenario. Make sure to make a 'New Scenario' button so that you could press it to get a blank scenario.
  2. On scenario mode support drag&drop for getting the terrain up/down like it does in the normal game menu.
This will reduce the confusion from the users that never used the scenario mode before, and this would be a lot easier to use than the current method.
  3. On the vehicle lists, display the total profit next to the group names.
  4. On the vehicle lists, display the current location and status of each vehicle.
This might be a bit limited but still will ease more integrated management. Once done, the player would get decent amount of information with a simple glance.
  5. When you move a vehicle shared with its group individually into another group automatically turn off sharing.
  6. When the local authority rating is 'appalling', don't let the player build ANY facilities like roads and railways.
  7. 'Negotiation with local authorities' function:
This would help you get higher ratings. This function will enable the player to get one higher rating when it's less than 'mediocre' under the local authority's terms & conditions.

---
Number one is the most severe it gets less and less severe as the number goes on.

The attached file shows where the total profit should come up on number 3

Thanks

Cleaning Flyspray: this needs split apart, as it covers many things in one issue. I'll try and come back to it later and clean it up. Thanks.

  1. I can't comment
  2. might be addressed by https://bugs.openttd.org/task/6612
  3. is same as https://bugs.openttd.org/task/5334
  4. not a current goal for OpenTTD
  5. Groups are not intended for order management, this won't be implemented. Both groups and orders have multiple usability problems, ideally this would be solved, but is not a current goal for OpenTTD.
  6. I'm rejecting this one, thanks, not nice gameplay ;)
  7. Bribes are negotiations, at least in OpenTTD land

Reason for closing: Won't implement

Cleaning Flyspray, this issue covers too many things to keep open, however I've segmented the requests out in a comment. Thanks for the suggestions, enjoy the game.
