When a human controlled company with a password bankrupts and an AI takes its slot, the AI will inherit the password from the bankrupted company.
Was this pointless to report?
Reproducing:
Launch OpenTTD
Make sure an AI can spawn in a new game in Game Script/AI Settings/Advanced Settings
Multiplayer > Start Server > New Game > Generate
Set a password for your company (Company 1)
Move yourself to spectator
Console > Set network.autoclean_companies on
Console > Set network.autoclean_novehicles 1
Wait a bit for autoclean to clean up Company 1 and for an AI to start as Company 1
Result: The AI that takes the Company 1 will have a Lock icon next to it's grayed out 'Join' button. It seems to happen for any Company slot, for as long as the last human player had set a password prior to Bankrupt.
