It would be absolutely splendid to have more of train stats in the conditional order values, like: power, weight, tractive effort. And perhaps something more?
Given that train orders are for the train you give them too, wouldn't it make sense to make orders that fit your train?
You cannot clone the train itself, so being able to share orders would be mostly dumb luck, imho.
I never understood, why one would like to make conditional orders depending on speed and other fixed train properties - like Alberth said 'wouldn't it make sense to make orders that fit your train?'
However, there's one use case, where I would like to have a conditional jump on train length:
At some point in game, my tracks get clogged and I switch to trains of twice the length (by combining two "old" trains into one "new" one). For this it would be great to be able to let all long trains proceed and make all short trains to stop in certain depots.
AIUI, orders should be deterministic (e.g. for cdist). Many vehicle stats are non-deterministic as they can be adjusted by newgrf on an entirely random basis. Therefore this is not a possible goal. Also adds complexity for little gameplay benefit.
