I don't know if this is a result of NewGRF's or something in the core code so I'll report it here.
Anyway, if you load the attached save you'll see a building with the sign "undestroyable" over it. This house can't be demolished. The authority love me, so it's not that. The error is simple: "Can't clear this area".

The house was once bordered by some road, but I deleted the road to make way for railway. Didn't have good graces of the authority at the time to destroy the building.

I can destroy it with the magic bulldozer, but then of course I've "cheated".

I'd press "request closure" but it doesn't seem to work with javascript off despite everything else seemingly fine with JS off. :-S
