as the title says, it'd be great if one could clone vehicles directly from vehicle list.

Currently, trying to clone from any vehicle list (both company vehicle list and list of vehicles, which share same station/depot/waypoint) only opens vehicle window for that vehicle. Furthermore, trying to clone from company vehicle list also deselects clone vehicle command, requiring you to select "clone vehicle" again.

I'm sorry if this has been suggested before, but I was unable to find any other task regarding this feature request.

Thanks for your time,

Cloning from the company vehicle list? In what depot would the vehicles then appear?
You can select the vehicle from the list and use the clone tool by clicking on the vehicle in the vehicle window.

Ricardo: I probably didn't explain it clearly enough: I'm talking about the cloning tool *in depot* (don't think you can access the clone tool without vehicle in depot/depot itself). So it'd use the depot in which you selected the cloning tool (as it does now).

The second line is basically what is this feature request about. If you could clone directly from vehicle list, you wouldn't have to open vehicle window, select cloning tool and click the vehicle - you'd just click (with cloning tool active) on vehicle in the list.

Sorry, I miss-understood.
In that case, yes, it is a good idea, and could spare some work sometimes. :)
