If you open the download page like you only see the downloads from the "stable" release. You cannot change the release type to testing or nightly on this page. The only way to change it is to click the links in the upper left corner. IMHO they are overseen unless you know where to look to find it. As an example the "OpenTTD 1.0.1-RC1" news mention there is a testing release, but if you click on the big download button on the right (instead one of the download links in the upper left corner) you don't see any "1.0.1-RC1" release as you are in the "stable" section, not in the "testing" section.

My proposal is to make the word "stable" in "Latest release in stable is 1.0.0, released on 2010-04-01 00:00 UTC." linkable/clickable to select other release types. And/Or making the Download links in the upper left corner bigger and easier to recognized. Maybe with one big word "Downloads" (instead of three small words) like the menu entries and then just the release types (and maybe even with icons for "stable", "testing" and "nightly" ;)).
