In OpenTTD 0.5.3 RC1, after having once used ALT-TAB to get out of the game, the CTRL key will no longer work inside the game. The means it is impossible to place pre-signals, etc. after having once alt-tabbed out ot the game. I have experienced this problem with Windows XP.
