If the train hasn't left bridge completely, you can try to destroy the bridge and you'll succeed. But the next moment the train tries to move, game crashes. Network game of course desyncs with server's crash.
Using latest revision as of date of writing (r9655).
Steps to reproduce.
Flat ground.
build a bridge (works on 4-tile long bridge)
run a train over it (works on a 3-tile long)
don't exit the bridge completely, optionally stop the train at that state.
destroy the bridge.
the next tic train tries to move -- kaboom!
Load the attached savegame and destroy the bridge to reproduce this. Screenshot shows the train with already destroyed bridge.
