Hi, first of all, I'm not really sure if this is the correct place to report this, but it seems the only place.
Ok being said that, the issue happens on the ANDROID portable version that you can find on Google Play.
This one uses Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) and it works almost the same way as the one on PC.
Due to mobility I really play more often the Android portable rather than PC.

The issue happens when you want to change the name of any object (station, town, sign, vehicule, groups, anything)
Since we have no "keyboard" when we need to rename, we need to touch the text of the openttd window.
The moment we do that, we get our Android device keyboard with the name that it was on openttd.

This is the place were the issue happens, the "backspace" of the android keyboard delete most of the time two chars, not one.
So if you need to delete the X from 123X45 you will place the cursor right after the X, when you touch the backspace you get 1245 instead of 12345 since it deletes the "X" and then the "3".

This is probably and issue that happens on SDL but how can you report it there?

Problem severity is really low, I already got used to it.
