Today I installed OpenTTD 1.5.0 and opened one of my saved games, which I saved yesterday with version 1.4.4. When I opened the Buy new vehicles window, I saw that my renamed vehicles all had wrong names - one had a garbled name and two had a name that I gave to two of the towns I founded myself. Looking at one of those towns, I saw its name had been changed to a question mark, as well as all automatically named stations nearby. (A station that I named myself did have the correct name). Also, the name corruption doesn't seem to affect every self-founded town (in the enclosed save, Carlisle is corrupted but Edinburgh isn't).

Enclosed are the saved game, a screenshot of the vehicle list and a screenshot of a town with a corrupted name. Since the game didn't crash, I couldn't find crash.*, which is why I haven't enclosed it.
