I think the issue is related with "Autorenew minimum needed money for renew" being different on both players.

So there's two players, 1 and 2, on the same company. Player 1 created the company. Player 2 joined it later on.

  1. I am Player 2, and my setting is, before joining the company...
Autorenew minimum needed money for renew: £0

2)... then I joined the company, this setting was set like this...
Autorenew minimum needed money for renew: £100,000

The company already had a train (Train 1) when I joined it, and I proceed to create another train (Train 2). A few months later, a new engine becomes available, and according to the script, Player 1 was afk, so I went to auto-replace the two train engines to the newer.

  1. This is when I notice that the minimum money needed was set to £100,000 because I wasn't seeing any train being replaced. I went to change it like this...
Autorenew minimum needed money for renew: £0

Result:
Train 2 (created by me, Player 2) was replaced immediately after that change
Train 1 (created by Player 1) was not. It was only replaced at £100,000

Reported version: 1.5.0-beta1
Operating system: Windows

Company settings are set for a company, not for a client. For all things in a company the same company settings apply, no matter who clicks what.

Every client in the company is allowed to change the settings of a company.
Whoever starts a company sets the initial company settings according to his/her defaults.

Does that match you observation? Then it is correct.
