I noticed that "non-articulated" road vehicule wich has a "slower" speed limit don t get overtaken by road vehicule that are not speed limited AND have a faster top speed than the speed limit of the first vehicle.
Only if the second vehicle has an absolute top speed it will try to overtake .and this behavior is there since very very long...so i m not really sure it s a bug, in fact, i tried many times, and some told me it should work, but i have never seen a vehicule with a lower or equal top speed overtake one that has a the same or greater top speed. even though the suposely faster vehicule is in fact running slower cause heavily loaded AND now also when you put a speed limit inside the timetabling.
I don t have yet a perfect savegame to show you the bug (newgrf added ingame), but as soon as i find time i ll build it up and post it here, if someone that wanna look for the bug ask for it. (meanwhile buying two same road vehicule and making them run with different speed limit shouldn t be too complicated or long and will show the bug)
i created a save game showing the buggy behavior, it s here and i post now also a screenie to show the situation ( a vehicule with top speed 112km/h and no speed limit is not able to overtake a vehicule that have a 50km/h speed limit and a top speed of 128km/h)
