Milsa opened the ticket and wrote:

Please remember last selected airport type. I selected "metropolitan". After close and open airport form "city" iarport is selected again.

I often accidentally put the wrong airport.

It's probably really a bug, because in airport_gui, there is global scope index for last selected airport, which is unfortunately always ignored.

This small patch is one possibility how to make use of it and fix this.
