If you start timetabled shared road vehilcles in a depot (with startdates set automaticly), they start randomly instead of the order in the timetable. The problem might also exist with trains, but I haven't tested that yet.
I made a save game to show the problem.
Just start the vehicles in the depot at the same time (green light in the right corner)
Number 4 should start first, then 3, 2 and last 1. Instead they will start randomly causing one or more vehicles to be late because they have to wait behind another vehicle that is too early.
The exiting of a depot (or crossing a junction) is (for the end user) more or less random. You seem to want to change this so they are essentially leaving the depot (or crossing a junction) based on their "current" "lateness".
Thanks for suggestion. This is not a current goal for OpenTTD. Rubidium indicated this is unlikely to change. Cleaning Flyspray, so closing this. Thanks :)
