I found out that using the letter T in a chat sentence will restart the chatline like you have not started typing yet. The key t and shift T will still start the chatinterface.
Also at the start of a chatline you can't start with the T as it will not accept it and remain a blank line. Opening console and typing Say T will change the letter input from the console to a newly opened chatline at the bottom of the screen.
I have encountered this problem on the following builds: r25863 and r25930. tested the later by localhosting a multiplayer game and trying to chat.
Maybe related to the subject: whenever I open and close console it will input a character that is used to open console. So when I open console with the § key on my macbook and close it again it has inputted § in the console.(just character no enter to apply the console command) Same applies to the `key. (osx has 2 ways to open console)
Yes this is only OSX related and present in the tested nighties. 1.3.2 has no such issue.
