One of my trains got stuck, it's just moving from time to time, very very slowly - 2 km/h.
It's not a signal issue; it might have something to do with the freight multiplier.

Your train is simply too heavy to accelerate uphill as a result of the high multiplier. As long as it doesn't come to a stop uphill everything is fine as it can just work with the velocity it already has, but the moment it has to stop to let the trains from the other station cross it doesn't have the power to accelerate. You can consider setting the multiplier lower or changing the track layout to change the crossing.

But this is not an OpenTTD bug.

Thanks, are you sure the calculation is correct? I mean... it's lev4, and the slope is not that steep.
Anyway, it improved after I changed the layout.

Exactly, it's lev4! Maglevs are horrible with heavy loads on slopes.

From what I can see, lev4 has the greatest power and tractive effort. What should I use instead, SH '40'?

Compare the TE with a steam engine you get earlier in the game. It may be the lev with the biggest number, but it's still horrible.

You ran into a game challenge. You have to be careful in laying tracks and selecting train consists.
If you need further advice, please discuss at the forum.
