When tram tracks are built on grass tiles, OpenTTD still draws the road sprite underneath them despite the fact that there isn't actually a road tile there. This looks odd when using certain graphics (namely, American Road Replacement Set) and ultimately the road sprites serve no real purpose in that situation, other than to potentially trick people into thinking there is a usable road there. If possible, I think it would be better to simply draw a blank ground sprite underneath instead of the road sprites.
