The game crashes every time I try to start an AI. In the case attached I just tried to use IdleMore. I have attached the crash message and the screen (in this case I started the AI manually via the console, but the same happens if I wait for the game to load any AI). The game runs fine if I don't use AI, so this problem is specific to AI. Do you know if there is any specific libraries that is used only by the AI system and that may cause this?

I run on a MacBookPro with Mac OS X 10.7.5.

btw, congratulations for the nice game. It's even better than the original (except that I'm not able to play against an AI...).

Update: I was able to compile from source and I don't have problems running AIs now. So the problem was present only in the binary version I downloaded from here.

In other words, the compiler does not create a binary that works right.

Since Apple doesn't provide newer GCCs anymore on their http://www.opensource.apple.com site, we can't update the compiler either.

So I fear little can be done about this, except waiting for some way that someone gets a newer version of the compiler working on Linux. Or that OS X may be run on non-Apple hardware.

I didn't check how hard cross-compiling would be, but http://www.opensource.apple.com/release/developer-tools-46/ has downloads for clang, llvmgcc and ld (and all other tools like lipo).
