When adjusting offsets for "short" train vehicles, I noticed that train positioning is weird in OTTD, see picture. The "test train" is composed of one 12px and two 16px vehicles (although 4 bounding boxes are shown ...). Dimensions and offsets are as follows:

12px:

12 12 -4 -9
12 12 4 -8
12 12 4 -4
11 8 -3 -2
12 12 -14 -4
12 12 -16 -8
12 12 -6 -9

16px:
15 8 -3 -12
13 14 -6 -9
12 16 0 -8
13 14 2 -5
15 8 -3 -4
13 14 -14 -5
12 16 -16 -8
13 14 -6 -9

Property 21 is set to "5" for the 12px and to "4" for the 16px vehicle.

(Twiddling offsets to compensate for this wouldn´t be a solution because of other nasty mis-positionings in succession.)
