Loading my test savegame in 21920 I get a crash after a few seconds with "Assertion failed at line 222 of c:\openttd\compile\src\ground_vehicle.hpp: this->z_pos == GetSlopeZ(this->x_pos, this->y_pos)".

<Eddi|zuHause> there's been some messing around with bridges and bridge heads recently, maybe this is related?

Log and dmp and sav attached.

It is caused by a vehicle that has to reverse while it is overtaking. The vehicle jumps back after it has finished overtaking. It is visible with asserts disabled in the attached savegame.

It's not release-critical, but it would be nice to have it solved...

A reproducible crash that isn't release critical? I suspect many people may not agree ;)

I can reproducably kill a cat with a microwave if I ignore the message that putting a cat in a microwave might kill the cat. Is killing the cat a release critical error in the microwave?

It crashes only with enabled assert. The only user-visible problem in release builds is broken animation of vehicle reversing when the vehicle was overtaking before reversing (unless proven otherwise).
