I'm playing cooperative games, and for history of chat I have to have console opened nearly all the time, which is not much friendly to viewport size. Then, i discovered options in config file.
Idea: How about to add some settings to advanced settings -> interface to change network_chat_box_width, network_chat_box_height and network_chat_timeout? It will help many beginners who are maybe afraid to configure it in config file.

This task depends upon

Reason for closing:  Won't implement
Additional comments about closing:  A current goal of OpenTTD is to simplify Advanced Settings by removing options where possible. It's unlikely that these settings will be moved. Issue is more than 5 years old, and no obvious route forward, so closing as part of Flyspray clean up. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Then we can add literally a hundred other settings as well. Most of them totally useless for the average user. This will then only make it more difficult for the average user to determine what settings are useful for him/her to consider changing. Especially as there is a large number of settings where you need more background information than the ten or so words you can give in the advanced settings window.

So I'm not inclined to actually implement this.
