what it says, typing rescan_ai into the console does not appear to do anything, as it still thought an ai i'd just deleted was still there

unless of course, it's supposed to do something else?

It's not that important though and removing OpenTTD files while running isn't something we advertise supporting.

The AI is loaded every time it is started, so there is no problem there. It's just not removed from the list when you remove the AI files. You don't even need to execute "rescan_ai" if you only change your AI files (not info.nut).
