The following patches are necessary to openttd-1.0.1 in order to compile under NetBSD 5.0.2 (latest stable version as of may 17, 2010, with 3r party packages from pkgsrc-2010Q1)
Another patch, ticket # 3809 is also reported, that claims to fix openttd's functionality under netbsd. unfortunately the report lacks version of the operating environment, and the supplied patch has some points, that may cause problems in the future. These are:
* modifies config.lib (it works allright as of openttd-1.0.1, and possibly has not changes much since. why fix if ain't broken?)
* defines _GNU_SOURCE in a source file, that may break feature test macros later in that source file, if not now, then in the future, should any such functionality be introduced later on.
The files are unidiff, as created by pkgsrc tools, to be accepted by the pkgsrc automated, portable packaging system.
