Because of r16294, configure fails on 10.4, asking for Xcode 2.5 when 2.5 is installed.

The attached patch tries to check the SDK version by actually using a constant name that is missing in early 10.4 SDKs.

Works for me; reports about works-for-you-too and works-on-buildfarm would be appreciated.

Zdenek "SmatZ" Sojka has stated that this patch "makes sense", but implied that it's not a valid patch because it was made by me.

22:24:24 < SmatZ> well, his patch makes sense
22:24:29 < SmatZ> but it's _ln
---

So, please choose one option:

  1. Close this task and remove the patch, as no valid patch was supplied
  2. Forget for a while who made it, and commit it (try not to forget giving credit, though)
  3. Don't be a SmatZ, and commit it

As far as the naming of the patch file goes, the name is a response to:
17:09:18 < planetmaker> _ln, just provide the damn patch :)

I can confirm that it allows compilation on my system with XCode 2.4. It does of course not tell anything about what it tells on those systems which actually had a problem.
