In r16404 Win9X version it is impossible to purchase any type of Road Vehicle (Bus, Truck, Tram, etc.) When the attempt is made either by double clicking on the vehicle or by left clicking on the 'build' button the game will freeze. I have tested this in both newly created games and in saved games and the outcome is the same - a frozen game with no crash. I reverted back to a previous version of trunk (r16381, last one I had on my HD) and this behavior does not occur. All other types of vehicles have been tested in both new and saved games and work as they are suppose to in r16404 Win9X version.

Reported version: trunk
Operating system: Windows

The win9x build works fine for me on Windows XP SP2. So you need to give more information for us to get a clue what might be going wrong.

Close it down. I reapplied the r16404 Win9x zip again and all is working as it should. I have no idea what went wrong previously but my guess would be that something failed to overwrite something else properly the first time around. This has never happened before but I will remember to give it a shot in the future. Thank you for your concern and for your time and effort.

Rubidium closed the ticket.

Reason for closing: Unreproducible

'Reapplying' the zip and it works fine
