Rubidium opened the ticket and wrote:

To reproduce:
- find a server using a NewGRF that you don't have
- open the NewGRF settings window for that server (there should be red NewGRFs; matching file not found)
- save that preset
* segfault *

Major question is whether one should be able to save the preset when one doesn't have the NewGRFs required for the preset.

On a side note: delete preset should probably be disabled when the 'custom' preset is selected.
