a) Click on train 4 in the station in front of you and goto it's orders screen.
b) Click "skip" twice in quick succession. This will cause the train to go back and forth in the station, but it won't leave the station.
c) Click Timetable. The timetable is now showing that the train is 87 days late. This may or may not be a bug, but anyway.
d) Now, fast foward the game for several game days, any period between 1 and 80 or so will be fine I suspect.
e) Click "reset late counter". It will now display "X days late", where x is the number of days the train was in the station thinking it was early. I'm pretty sure that even if C isn't a bug (I don't have an opinion either way really), this should be.
There was another bug with that particular train, where it wasn't leaving the station. That's why I made that save, however it all seems to be working in that save, and it was whilst fiddling around with that train trying to replicate it that I found this.
It would be nice if you provided a savegame without newgrfs, and if this isn't unique to cargodest, saved in trunk (also, typing the exact cargodest revision you used would save us time).
I can't reproduce the bug, I have different versions of grfs, so the game doesn't load properly.
I don't seem to be able to replicate it from the trunk nightlies.
It's the cargo-dest build from the 19th Dec.
I cannot replicate it myself anywhere except that one train (though I think I've seen it elsewhere in that game too), either in cargo-dest or trunk. As such i can't provide a grf free game (and it doesn't even replicate with the grf's on, so something probably happened to the train).
Whilst there are a bunch of newgrfs added, only three of them are being actively used in the game -
