There is a bug in bridge building handling: If the first bridge (wooden one), has got reduced maximum length, let say only 10 tile max, this prevents building any bridge longer than 10. The game fails checking all available bridges, per example, if there is a better bridge with max length 20, that wont appear at all. The game just drops a cant build bridge message.
