dihedral opened the ticket and wrote:

under windows, one can copy a string from outside ottd to clipboard, and paste into ottd usting strg+v

under OS X this however does not work. pasting anything from the clipboard using command+v (apple key + v).
also tried ctrl+v just in case, this does not work either.
