There is a problem with playing music when the path is very long.
I compiled trunk r12365 and put the needed files in this dir:
C:testpath890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789
Like this the music plays just fine, but if you add a zero to the end of the directory name, like this:
C:testpath8901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890
No music will play.

If further info is needed ill be happy to provide :)

Reported version: trunk
Operating system: Windows

What Windows and filesystem (FAT, NTFS) are you using?
Does this happen with pre-compiled win9x, win32 (or win64) builds? You can get them at http://nightly.openttd.org/

WinXP sp3 32bit with NTFS.

Strangely it seems to be no problem with the crosscompiled nightly.
Maybe its because they are compiled with directX headers (last time I heard of it anyway).
