When playing OpenTTD 0.6.0 beta 2, I can get the attatched savegame ("AE Transport 1b, 6th Dec 1948.sav") to crash if I do the following:
1. Press the "Ships" button
2. Press the "New Group" button (a group called "Group 77" should appear)
3. Select "Group 77" and press the rename button
4. Type in a new name (eg. "Blah").
5. The game crashes with "Assertion failed at ..srccommand.cpp:629: res.GetCost() == res2.GetCost() && CmdFailed(res) == CmdFailed(res2)".

This occurs every time I load the game and carry out these steps. Sometimes, when I try and load the generated crash.sav file, I get "Game Load FailednInternal Error: inflate() failed", but sometimes, the crash.sav loads normally (the attatched crash.sav loads normally). When It does load, if I attempt to rename "Group 77", I just get a "Can't rename group... Too many names defined" message.

I am currently close to the limit for the number of names defined. If I load "AE Transport 1b, 6th Dec 1948.sav", I can place one more sign normally, but if I attempt to place a second sign, I get a "Can't change sign name... Too many names defined" message when I attempt to rename it. After I've done this, if I then try and create a new group of ships using the procedure described above, I get the "Can't rename group... Too many names defined" message when attempting to rename the new group. Also if I delete one of my signs before I create the new group of ships, I can successfully create and rename the new group.

See http://bugs.openttd.org/?getfile=2131 for a list of GRFs I'm using.
