I heard some time ago, that you can change your welcome screen background by replacing opntitle.dat with a savegame and renaming the savegame to opntitle.dat. i did it. I used my own save of one # openttdcoop game. When I started OpenTTD, it crashed, saying I need to file a bug report. Then I tried again, but this time I jsut tried to load that savegame with older opntitle.dat. It crashed after loading the game wanting me to file a bug report again. So here I am. I would have given you the exact crashlog too, but I don't find it anywhere. So I copy-pasted the log, which was in error window.

BTW. I could replace the opntitle with another savegame and it works

With current openttdcoop GRF pack, I get these warnings:

Error: !Disconnecting road vehicle.

Do you get them too?

If so, it is caused by incompatible/missing GRFs.

Yes. Disconnecting road vehicle. I'm pretty sure I didn't have those grfs at that time, but it should just disallow them and load correctly, shouldn't it. Just like with other nightlys. As for !Disconnecting road vehicle thats in the "reason" tab in the crashlog.txt too

If it tries to load completely different statistics onto the vehicles, especially articulated vehicles, something is bound to go wrong.

Think of for example the vehicle being spaced improperly; only can have articulated vehicle parts that are 'only' a few pixels. When you replace them with vehicles almost 30 pixels wide and the articulated vehicle starts to think it has about 30 pixels between each part when it is 'only' 5, vehicles will start turning way too late and that breaks up the vehicle.

Rubidium closed the ticket.

Reason for closing: Won't fix

It is due to missing NewGRFs, which cannot be solved by the design of NewGRFs. The only this done is adding more disclaimers about loading a game without the proper NewGRFs.
