You have bus, truck or ship. You stop it and run it.
When you run it, object speed is not zero, and not smooth acceleration. their speed = speed before stop.
example: you stop bus when their speed is 30 mph. run this bus again. what is their speed? zero? but their speed 30 mph immediately.

I could only reproduce this bug with ships. You explain in more detail when and how this happens with road vehicles?

Sure, In Nigthles versions this bug is at ships only, but in version 0.5.3 this bug is at road vehices too.
