This is the first attempt to code a fast construction toolbar to allow selecting the tools with less mouse movement as possible (like in consoles, see http://www.spaziogames.it/img3/news50/generali/75229/75229_4.jpg for example)
Usefull for low resolutions where there is not so many space for all the GUIs
Usefull for handheld devices like PocketPC where you can keep pressed the stylus for a second and then select the tool which is about at 1 cm of distance

TO DO:
open with right click (after 1 second to avoid unwanted toolbar opening) over a tile, with no tool selected
open at the mouse coords, or at least very near it when it is near the screen border
fix the transparency of the inner zone of the gui, to see what happen under it
some other things i'm thinking about

updated the previous patch to open the gui by clicking on a tile
needs a timeout to open it after 1 second of mouse button pressed and the gui should open at the tile coordinates

I vote +1 for this idea. As an owner of a Palm TX and (at Christmas when the wife lets me open it) a GP2X, this would be really useful. I have a version of OpenTTD for both those platforms loaded on an SD card and it's tricky trying to use a joystick/touchscreen as a mouse for certain things.

I haven't tried this patch but I will do at some point. Keep up the good work.
